AETTPrivacy Policy

This policy explains how 本名蒼涼 ("we") handles information in the Chrome extension "AETT - Automatic Email Translation Tool" (the "Service"). If this version differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.
1. Information we collect and why
| Your Google account email address and ID | Used to identify you and to manage your character usage and plan. Google sign-in provides only your email address and basic profile identifiers. |

| Text you translate (email subject and body) | Only when you check "Translate" and send, the text is passed through our server to Google Cloud Translation to be translated. We do not store it or log it. Quoted text is not sent. |
| Number of characters used | We record only the character count, to enforce plan limits. |
| Subscription status | We receive your plan and renewal date from our payment provider. We never receive your card number or other payment details. |
| Extension settings and per-recipient preferences | Your settings, and the language last used for each recipient address, are stored only in your browser and are never sent to our server. |
2. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell or share your information with third parties, except as required by law. We use the following providers to run the Service:
- Google Cloud (Cloud Translation, hosting, database): to translate text and to store account and usage data. Google states that text sent to Cloud Translation is used only to provide the service and is not used to train its translation models.
- Stripe (payments): paid plans are sold and processed by Stripe as merchant of record (Stripe Managed Payments, including Link). Payment information is handled under Stripe's privacy policy.
3. Google user data
AETT's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, and the Google API Services User Data Policy. The information is used only to provide the Service's features and is never used for advertising, sold, or used for credit decisions.
4. Retention and deletion
Account and usage data are kept for as long as needed to provide the Service. To request deletion, contact us below. Removing the extension deletes the settings stored in your browser.
5. Security
All communication is encrypted (HTTPS), and the keys needed for translation are kept only on our server.
6. Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page.
